The Job and Qualification

We are looking for an intern in Data Engineering. We accept students/recent graduates with an analytical mindset, and a passion for data-driven technology. This position will help us in the Data Engineering process, e.g. Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Scouting, Data Warehousing, Benchmarking, ETL Process Automation.

Successful applicants should have the following knowledge (by completing class in university or other relevant courses):

  • Relational Database (e.g. SQL, ERD, experience with PostgreSQL would be a good plus)
  • Programming Skills (e.g. SQL, Python)
  • Unix/Linux environment

During your stay with MAPEGY, we expect you to become a SQL expert who understands how to transform data into insights. We will help you to exercise your knowledge and skill in data engineering process such as database infrastructure, data pipelining, data quality check, indexing, and performance tuning. By the end of the internship, you will have experiences on working with heterogenous and massive amount of real-world data.
