According to the experts, a team of robots will win a football game against the world's best humans before 2050. Say hi and welcome the next generation of football!

Soccer robots are becoming more and more advanced, both Qfix-Soccer robot (with a control board, Atmel controller, a dribbler and a kicker) and Graupner RC-Soccer robot (radio controller doll playing soccer with ping-pong balls). There are even RoboCup and FIRA tournaments played each year around the world. Interested in taking part in these?
Here a few rules to take into consideration:

- A robot smaller than 22x22 cm
- Weight less than 1kg per robot
- Controlling of the robot using the remote is not permitted

There’s a world behind robotics and its developments in the football industry. Did you know about robot soccer leagues? Simulation, Small Size, Middle Size, Four Legged and Humanoid just to name a few.

However, soccer is a complex game. Tactics, teamwork and technical skills are required. Intuition, strategy and coordination are essential to move forward. The agility required in this sport makes it difficult for AI to reach the human level. However, reports tell this out loud: a team of robots will win a football game against the world's best humans before 2050.

What is the future of football going to look like?
